After over two decades at Washoe County School District (WCSD), Superintendent Dr. Kristen McNeill announced that she will be retiring from the district at the end of the 2021-22 school year. The Board of Trustees has initiated a search for the district's next Superintendent of Schools The search process will take several months, with the goal of selecting a new superintendent by Mid-April 2022. The new superintendent will start on July 1, 2022.
